About Fingerprint Rings

Larson Jewelers is now able to turn your plain wedding band into a custom fingerprint wedding band. Fingerprint rings are one of the hottest new trends in the bridal jewelry market. Your fingerprint is unique, so why not make your ring unique by turning it into a one-of-a-kind fingerprint engraved wedding band. If you would like to engrave your own fingerprint onto a ring, simply purchase a ring from our fingerprint ring selection, OR pick out any ring and instead of typing in text when filling out your engraving options, simply write the word "fingerprint". Cost is $50, which is $25 more than text engraving. Once you check out, we will e-mail you a form you fill out, so we can engrave your message. You love these engraved wedding bands!

 

How to Get Your Fingerprints to Us

It is a simple process to get your fingerprint to us, so we can create your fingerprint wedding bands.

Here is what you will need:
1. Ink pad or ink-less fingerprint pad that notaries use
2. Larson Jewelers Fingerprint Form
3. Digital camera or high-resolution mobile phone camera

To take the fingerprint:
1. Download our fingerprint form by clicking on the link below.

2. Place the part of your finger you want engraved onto the ink pad. Be sure to get a uniform amount of ink on your finger, not too light and not too much, to prevent partial prints or smudged prints.

3. Place your finger on the fingerprint form. Do not roll your finger, simply gently touch your finger to the paper and slowly lift your finger. Inspect the prints, making sure they are not smudged, and they clearly show all the ridges of your finger.

4. Take a picture of the fingerprint that most closely resembles the quality of the example print on the form. Be sure to take the picture in a well-lit room and make sure the camera is not moving or shaking as you take the picture. Otherwise, your perfect fingerprint will come out blurry.

When we create your fingerprint rings, we will make the size of the fingerprint life like. We crop the image of your print to the width of the ring, so it will look like your finger touched the ring and left a fingerprint on it. Please see example. We can engrave your fingerprint on the inside or outside of a ring.
