Answers
Why shop with Larson Jewelers?

Q.    Do you offer a 30 Day (45 Day for all Tungsten- Carbide Rings) 100% satisifaction or 100% of my money back Guarantee?
A.    Yes, we do.  At Larson Jewelers we aren't happy unless you are happy.  That means we will make every effort to resolve any problem no matter how big or small.  If we cannot resolve your issue, we will promptly and gladly refund you your money.  Most jewelers charge a re-processing re-stocking fee, as long as your returned item is in new condition, we will refund 100% of your order, period.  THIS IS THE BEST SATISFACTION POLICY OFFERED IN THE INDUSTRY.

Q.    What if I order the wrong size ring?
A.    Larson Jewelers understands that because you are not able to physically visit us to get your finger properly sized by our staff, occasionally, you might accidentally order the wrong size ring.  Therefore, we glady offer one complimentry size exchange.  Other jewelers charge a fee for this courtesy.

Q.    Do you offer Free Express Shipping?
A.    Yes, we offer FREE DHL 2-Day Express Air Shipping on all orders, no matter how small.  Other jewelers only offer free shipping if you spend a certain amount with them.  Also, if they do offer free shipping, it is usually free ground shipping or US Post Office shipping, which takes longer.

Q.    Do you offer the Lowest Price Guaranteed on Tungsten Carbide Rings?
A.    Yes, because we order a high volume of Tungsten-Carbide Rings, our manufacturer has given us the lowest prices and we have passed on the savings to you.  If you find a lower price at one of our "comparable competitors", we will not only match it, but we will beat it by 5%.

*Definition of a "Comparable Competitor": A comparable competitor must have a website (non E-Bay), offer comparable customer services, is on the first page of Google Search for "Tungsten Ring" or "Tungsten Band", and must have the same style of Tungsten-Carbide (not just Tungsten) ring offered for sale as us.  If a competitor does not offer free shipping, we can match their price, but cannot offer free shipping.

Q.    Does Larson Jewelers do custom orders?
A.    Absolutely.  While we try to carry the most popular styles , we know our customers are unique and we understand sometimes you may have a special request.  For further instruction on how to order a custom jewelry piece, please go to our custom rings page.

Q.    How tight or loose should my ring fit?
A.    Obviously, you wouldn't want your ring so tight that is stops blood from circulating in your finger, nor do you want it so loose that the ring is constantly slipping off your finger.  Somewhere between too tight and too loose is the happy medium, which really comes down to personal preference.  Generally, the perfect size ring should come off your finger with some force, but not considerable force when your hand is wet and soapy while washing your hands.  This way when your hand is dry and under room temperature it would be difficult for the ring to accidentally fall of, yet be comfortable and not cut off circulation.

Q.    What is "Comfort Fit"?
A.    Comfort fit rings are made so the inside of the ring is slightly rounded, rather than flat.  Think of the ring as being shaped like a donut or bagel.  The inside area, meaning the bagel or donut hole area of the of the ring, is rounded instead of being flat.  This is the concept of comfort fit.  As the name infers, comfort fit rings are more comfortable to wear.  However, the advantage of comfort fit is not noticeable unless you are wearing a ring that is wider than 6 mm, such as most tungsten carbide wedding rings that we carry, which are all comfort fit.  They are more comfortable because the rounded inside allows the ring to slide over your knuckle easier and once on the finger, the ring also sits more comfortably.

Q.    What is "Standard Fit"?
A.    If a ring is not described as comfort fit, it is always standard fit.  If a ring is standard fit, it means the inside surface of the ring is flat instead of rounded.  Standard fit rings require less precious metal to manufacture, which make them slightly more affordable compared to comfort fit rings.

Q.    What sizes does Larson Jewelers carry?
A.    Generally, we carry sizes 4 through 12.5.  The most common finger size for men is size 10 and the most common finger size for women is size 7.  Many of our products can be made in smaller or bigger sizes.  If you have a ring style in mind already, go ahead and contact us to find out if we can accomodate finger sizes smaller than size 4 and bigger than size 12.

Shipping

Q.    How long does shipping take and who do we ship our packages with?
A.    All jewelry pieces are made to order, which means we do not make it until you order it.  The manufacturing time will be 5 to 11 business days and then your order will be immediately shipped.  All orders to U.S. addresses include FREE 2 day express shipping with DHL.  For all international orders (non-USA addresses), Larson Jewelers will ship via United States Post Office because it is the most efficient shipping method for you.  Your order should arrive in your country within 3 days, but once it gets to your country it has to go through customs and then your country's post office will deliver the package to you.  The shipping time for international orders will generally be 1 to 2 weeks depending on the speed and efficiency or your country's customs and post office.  If you choose not to use your country's post office system, we can ship your package with DHL, please let us know when placing your order.  Please note additional fees will apply depending on the country.  For complete shipping information, please go to our
shipping page.

Q.    Will I pay customs taxes for international orders?
A.    Just about every country in the world charges customs duties on imported goods.  If you are an international customer, you will have to pay customs taxes because you are importing a piece of jewelry into your country.  Larson Jewelers has no way of knowing what tax rate each country charges nor does it have any control over what any country's government charges.  You would have to check with the proper authorities in your country.

Q.    Do you ship to APOs and FPOs?
A.    Yes, we do.  Orders being shipped to APO and FPO addresses will be only shipped via Priority Mail through the US Post Office.

Exchanges, Returns and Warranty

Q.    What is our exchange/return policy?
A.    We offer a 30 day exchange or refund policy on all precious metal (Gold, Palladium, and Platinum) jewelry, and a 45 day exchange or refund policy on all Tungsten-Carbide jewelry.  This means that you have 30 or 45 days from the day that the carrier delivers the package to you to exchange it or if you simply don't like it, you can return it for a refund.  Certain restrictions do apply.  Size exchanges for non-precious metal rings, such as Tungsten Carbide rings are free of charge for the first return and $25 for any subsequent returns.  Due to the high cost of resizing precious metal rings, Larson Jewelers will confirm your size, therefore, we cannont accept responsibilty for incorrect sizes ordered and there will be a $65 fee for each size exchange.  If you simply do not like the style you ordered and would like to exchange it for another style, non-precious metal rings have no charge on the first style exchange and $25 on any subsequent style exchanges.  For precious metal rings, again due to the high cost of precious metal rings, there will be a fee of 10% of the price of the ring.  For all exchanges and refunds, we ask that you contact our customer service department first and obtain a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number and follow all exchange/return instructions that was included in your order.  For more more complete online information or instructions, please see our
exchange/return policy

Q.    What is our warranty?
A.    Larson Jewelers carefully inspects each product before we ship it to you to make sure there are no defects.  We guarantee that your jewelry piece to be in new condition and free of any defects when you receive it.  Should there be any defect, we ask that you report it ot us within 3 days of receiving the item.  We will replace it free of charge.

Q.    Is there a lifetime warranty on your products?
A.    We offer a lifetime warranty on all of our Tungsten Carbide rings.  Customers may purchase a lifetime warranty policy either at the time of ordering the ring or after the ring has been purchased.  Purchasing the Tungsten lifetime warranty at the time of purchasing the ring can save you up to 50% of the normal warranty price.  This lifetime warranty allows one replacement ring if the ring should ever get damaged or is the customer's finger size ever changes.  Tungsten rings cannot be resized.  We cannot offer a lifetime warranty on non-Tungsten rings because non-Tungsten rings are made from softer, more malleable metals and can be re-sized at your local jeweler.  Please note the lifetime warranty does not cover the precious metal inlay of our inlaid Tungsten Carbide Wedding Rings.  For complete details of our Lifetime Warranty, please go to our warranty page.

Q.    Can I get a discount on my lifetime warranty for Tungsten Carbide ring?
A.    Yes, customers can choose to purchase a lifetime warranty at the time they need it for full price or they can save up to 50% off when purchasing the lifetime warranty at the same time they place their order for the rings.  For complete details of our Lifetime Warranty, please go to our warranty page.

Precious metal questions

Q.    What is Palladium?
A.    Palladium is a precious metal in the Platinum Group of Metals.  That means it looks just like Platinum and has some similar physical properties as Platinum, yet it only costs a fraction of what Platinum costs.  Palladium has long been alloyed with Gold to produce white Gold, but has only very recently been used in its pure form to make jewelry.  It is widely gaining popularity as a substitute for both Platinum and White Gold.  To read more about Palladium, please visit our
 Palladium page.

Q.    What is the difference between Tungsten and Titanium?
A.    Tungsten, like Palladium, is also a new metal being used in jewelry that is increasingly gaining popularity, especially for men's jewelry due to its heavy weight and extremely high durability. Tungsten is actually 4 times stronger than Titanium and is virtually scratchproof, while Titanium can be easily scratched.  It is also a more affordable option to Platinum, Gold or Palladium.  To read more about Tungsten, please visit our Tungsten page.

Q.    What's the difference between 14 karat and 18 karat Gold?
A.    All gold jewelry is alloyed with other metals to produce jewelry.  24 karat Gold, which is 99.9% pure Gold is too soft to be used in jewelry.  So, 14 karat Gold jewelry means that piece of jewelry contains 58.3% pure Gold and 18 karat Gold jewelry means it contains 75% pure Gold.  While 14 karat Gold jewelry contains less Gold then 18 karat Gold, it is more durable and harder than 18 karat Gold jewelry.  The same is true for white Gold.  To learn more about Gold, please visit our informational Gold page.

Q.    What is the difference between "carat" and "karat"?
A.    Karat, as mentioned above, refers to the purity level of gold in a piece of jewelry.  Carat refers to the weight, usually for pearls and gemstones, most notably diamonds.  One carat is equal to 200 milligrams.
