XL and XS Wedding Rings

Understanding Wedding Ring Sizes:

Small and large wedding bands vary in perception depending on individual preferences and style choices. Traditionally, small wedding bands are commonly paired with engagement rings and are typically worn by women. On the other hand, large wedding rings, characterized by broader widths, are often chosen for their modern aesthetic or to accommodate intricate engravings.

Defining XS and XL Rings:

But what exactly constitutes an extra-small (XS) or extra-large (XL) wedding ring? At Larson Jewelers, we typically categorize wedding bands based on their widths, which commonly range from 4mm to 10mm. In this context, a 4mm band would be considered "small," while a 10mm band would be categorized as "large." Any width falling below 4mm or exceeding 10mm is classified as XS or XL, respectively.

Measuring XL and XS Rings:

However, determining whether a ring is XS or XL solely based on its size can be challenging due to the wide array of sizing options available (including quarter, half, and full sizes). As a result, we primarily identify extreme sizes, such as a size 3.0 or a size 15.0 wedding ring, as examples of XS or XL rings.

In summary, while small and large wedding bands cater to varying preferences, the classification of XS and XL rings primarily revolves around their widths and extreme sizes rather than specific numerical measurements.
